At a first glance it looks like a very interesting toy with loads of great features for a mid range camera, such as 100% 1x viewfinder, 19 point AF, double digicIV processor... and also a sort of "digital bubble spirit level", available in real time both in the viewfinder and the display, which shows you if your camera is tilted thanks to a built-in acceleration sensor (just like the one of the iphone 3g I guess...) No more excuses for tilted pictures with this camera, therefore!
Unfortunately, it doesn't make coffee and croissants yet, I'm afraid we will have to wait for the 9D

I will hold out for the one that makes the coffee and croissants. Perfect for the early morning sunrise images.

Without downloading the original images, I'm impressed with the high iso noise improvement over the 50D. Looks like it may be time to upgrade from my 40D. Thanks for the post.

I ordered one from Hunts on September 1. Can't wait.
