I very much like the simplistic and dead central composition. As already mentioned by David, the image does look just a little too bright, the detail is there and the brightest areas are certainly not burnt out or anything, but I think bringing the brightest areas down, just a little, may be beneficial here.
A good, strong image of a striking species.

Having seen this on a 5ft canvas, I know just how good it is, super shot Steve, just needs the brightness tweaking a touch.

Superb pose & comp with good details too, especially those eyes. The feather in the beak is a nice finishing touch.
I agree with Andy regarding this image at your Bempton display.
Agree with all comments said, you've done well to deal with the harsh lighting on the light plumage.
Just as an aside, noticed that you posted almost the same number of replies as you do photos for critique. It would be great if you can offer more of your opinion/perspective on others' work also.

Nits covered but and effective image.. re-processing will go a long way to bring this shot to the level it deserves.

Lovely! I agree with the previous suggestions but I must say I would like to see the 5ft canvas of this.

I'd use the straightening tool in PS to put the bird upright in the frame and reprocess.
