Off the beach
This Dotterel is at the moment probably the most photographed bird in Kent. Thought I would post something a bit different to the shingle shots that most people have been getting, and show an image of the bird feeding.

ps noticed that the colour is way off the processed image. Not sure why as I dont normally have any issues when uploading??

Off or not, still a superb image, and I am glad you managed to get something a bit different .

A lovely image of the bird in its environment. Great detail and love the complimentary background colours. :wavey:

Good one. The food in the beak adds an extra element of interest.

Some really nice stuff you have captured Tony and as usual your efforts, despite the marauding circus, have paid off.. Nice one.

Great shot - like the low angle and the grub.

a very nice shot, as others have mentioned, the low angle really works. The food in its beak finishes it nicely.
