Hello everyone! I am a new member to the this site and the forums. I came upon this site by recommendations from a local pro photographer. It seems like this is a great community filled with a lot of talented photographers. I was very excited about the opportunity to find some local photographers here in the Denver area. I am really hoping to meet some like minded photographers who wouldn't mind some company to go on weekend shoots. At this point I am really looking to get out and find some good locations to just practice more.
It would also be nice to get some constructive critique on my photos. Anyhow, if anyone around Denver is planning any photo outings and does not mind some company, please let me know. I would be happy to accompany and pay half the costs to get to location. Looking forward to getting to know everyone better.
PS: Anyone going to shoot the Balloon Classic in the springs this weekend? I was thinking of going Sunday or Monday morning before sunrise.

Welcome aboard. I haven't forgotten about you. It's been a really busy summer and I've been to a number of places I haven't hit before. I usually go during the week though when there are less people around. If you get a chance, try to hit Maroon Bells the 3rd or 4th week of Sept. Last year I got in the car at midnight and made it down there for a sunrise shot. If I get anything a little closer to home during the fall, I'll get in touch...drop me an email.

Hey Jack, how have you been? Glad to hear your getting out and discovering some new places. I checked out some pictures of Maroon Bells and the place looks amazing.
I did a sunrise shoot at Rocky Mountain National Park last weekend with Erik Stensland, and had to head out of the house at 2am. I am hoping to get out to some nice places for the fall colors. If you plan something out, definitely let me know. I can even make weekdays work with a little up front notice. Hope your having a great summer and I look forward to chatting with you sometime.
