Rock City NNL
I made the early 2 hr drive on Monday morning to be at Rock City NNL at sunrise. The low light hitting the rock and the branches/trunk of the big tree is what caught my eye. ISO 200, f/11, 1/10, small crop.

I've posted additional images from the morning in the Weekly Challenge http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/ic.cgi?a=vp&pr=129203&CGISESSID=72ca1610c58aeef79e7ebded6ab1b211&u=13661 and Macro http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/ic.cgi?a=vp&pr=129204&CGISESSID=72ca1610c58aeef79e7ebded6ab1b211&u=13754 forums.

Interesting looking area, Rob. I like your composition here but think the lighting in the WC post is better, even though it was mid-day. The bright spot at the bottom keeps pulling me down and out of the frame on this one.

These rocks look like candidates for some interesting close-up geometrical abstacts.

I'm more fond of the light in the additional images. Very interesting location and a nice spider web!

I like the light on the other shot but these rocks sure are interesting. I hope to see these myself one day. Thanks for sharing Rob.
