I just was taking a break at work and surfed over to NPN, and saw that Lon's antelope shot (which won an EP a few weeks ago) is the September photo of the month! You excel at showing the rest of the country how great the Great Plains really are! Congrats Lon, and great work

Thanks, all. Angela, I might not have known if you hadn't mentioned this! My bookmark by-passes the front page. Having an image there feels good, like a validation that I am actually improving. I have to say any improvement as a photographer I have experienced is almost completely due to NPN. I find that participation in the critique galleries has honed my eye, and also this community of photographers is a great source of information, help and inpiration.
