Windy day at Bottle Beach State park. Its a two picture blend also using a four or five stop ND filter to get the desired effect in the late evening sun. C and C's appreciated. Canon 5d, 16-35 mm at 16mm, iso 50, f/16 for 1.4 seconds.

Cliff,
Good job with your creativity. I think this would really work if the immediate foreground was a little lighter and those blurry streaks (grass?) weren't in the sky. That is the first place my eyes go and they lock onto it.
I'm a little ambivalent about the wispy grass, Cliff. It sure speaks of the wind, but it's annoying to the sun and the horizon/sky. The other place in the image to appreciate the wind is the blurred grass around the nice, sharply detailed driftwood. Seems to be a strong vignette effect… Was it intended, or is it your lens? Overall a pleasing comp and a nice scene.

Love the comp and color Cliff. While I'd prefer it without the motion, it's kind of a cool effect as a "second" option.
