Planning a trip 10/2-5 to RMNP, and wondering if anyone knows the name of the cabins on the left at the Fall River entrance of RMNP. I'm looking for a place to stay for three nights. Any suggestions on good places that don't cost a fortune? Thanks in advance. J

As I recall the cabins just inside the park are called Cascade cottages or cabins.

Not the specific cabins that your looking for but I stayed at http://www.mountainsageinn.com/ 2 years ago. I didn't spend much time in the room because I was out all day hiking and shooting. The place isn't fancy with hot tubs and such but it was clean and had the cheapest rates I could find.

Thanks Laurie like the way the inn looks. Sounds like the combo that suits my activity schedule (very similar to yours).

I've stayed at the Inn on Fall River a few times, and it's decent for the price. Really basic, but cheaper than most other places in the area.

I have stayed at the Misty Mountain Lodge a couple of times. Nothing fancy but it is right in town which makes it handy and it is fairly reasonable.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm researching them now. Here's a thank you shot from Ajax Mountain in Aspen. (yeah, I know...a cloud shot) not very original but I like it!
