Went out for Adder and Smooth Snake again and found a nice Smoothy..

Very nice Jeroen. I have still yet to see one these beauties. Nice composition. The line of the log going across the frame really works with the smoothy following suit. :jump: :jump:

Very nice composition, It looks a little suspicious of you as he has his eye on you :jump: , well spotted, none of these up where I live (think they've all been eaten :razz: ) but they are re introducing grass snakes to the region.

Comp is a bit different - can't make my mind up to be honest (don't know if I like quite so much tree trunk or not).

But apart from that there's some nice lines going on in the image, and just the right amount of DoF - nice one :wavey:

The snake is just a little too high in the frame for me, otherwise a very nice shot.
