Osprey catching a fish
Just getting round to looking at some images from a recent trip to Finland. This one caught my eye because of the wing position.

Canon 1D MK11, 300mm lens, f2.8, 1/1600, ISO 200

Now THAT is the best osprey/fish shot I have seen. We've all seen a lot of similar shots, but this has a lot more clarity than the others and the background is great. I'm sure we'll see a lot more of this one!

Brilliant! You can even see the fish's eye looking back to see what's on his back, no doubt he soon found out.
Sharp where it needs to be, motion where it should be

A very nice image. Sharp where it needs to be with good wing blur. The water spray is a nice finishing touch.

Nice flight shot Danny, like the curve of the fish and the wing position, nice one.

Enough said .

ok I lied .No green icon to show how envious I am .
Ok i might get lambasted for this .My take on it above. Colour temp just seemed a tadge out.
It may be my screen at work though.

Lovely image but agree with Mark that the colour temp was slightly out.

The second image looks a bit dull on my works monitor which I would say normally makes images look too bright. Shouldnt we be working Mark.
