I have decided to step down as moderator on the Central States Nature Photographers forum effective immediately. It has been my distinct pleasure to perform this duty over the past few years but the time has come to step aside.
If anyone is interested in assuming this role please contact Jim Erhardt to discuss the duties and benefits of being a regional forum moderator.
I would like to say thanks to David Bush for all his past contributions to the forum and give a special thanks to my friend Bill Dark for all his recent help as moderator. I appreciate their time and commitment to making this a great forum.
I want to thank each of you for your active participation over the last few years, you have made CSNP one of the best forums on NPN. I hope you will continue to support this wonderful group with your beautiful photography and commentary!
And if Tim E doesn't mind just this once ....
See you in the Woods!
Wayne

No, NO, say it ain't so! David did a great job to kick this thing off. You and Bill have done a super-duper job to take the group to new heights - you are leaving some very large shoes to be filled - THANKS for all that you have done for all of us!!!

The forum has become an addiction for me! It's partly your fault Wayne! Thanks for making this forum what it is and setting the standard so high for the future moderator. I have truly enjoyed being part of the group. I needed this forum and so glad I found it about a year ago! Thanks again and I look forward to meeting you some day in the woods with all the other addicts you've created!

I don't think've ever met anyone so talented in so many ways as you, Wayne. Besides sharing some of the best nature photography to be found anywhere, you're a master with words and image critique. And all the gatherings you've worked so hard to organize have always been first-rate. I sure hope you'll continue to come down to Arkie land for a visit now and then. Thanks for everything you've done to make this such a great venue for photographers to meet, share, and learn.

Hey Wayne,
Thank you for your time and efforts on the board as moderator. I have enjoyed your friendship and our discussions on several of the outings and while I understand your stepping down - it is a sad day for the group to lose your leadership.
I know Bill will continue to manage the duties at the high level the two of you have established and we will remain one of the top boards in NPN..
Thanks - - -Merle

Wayne, we will miss you in your job as moderator, but as Bill mentioned, I hope you will keep coming down to see us in the spring and fall!
Wayne since I have never met you, I also hope we continue to see you in the spring and fall. I would like to meet you one of these days. Thanks for all of your hard work. I imagine being a moderator is a lot more time consuming than most people realize.
