The Reflections are magnificent!
The Mist ain't half bad, either. Where was the first one taken?

Art, these are all really good! I like the virga shot quite a bit, and the mist shot is nice, but the reflections are quite unique and excellent.

I like #1 the best . Very creative perspective, and powerful contrast.

Another one for reflections :toast:

Thanks for the comments.

John, the virga shot is taken at the Western Spanish Peak near Cuchara.

Reflections got my vote too!

Hi Art,

I like the Silverton Mist. One suggestion might be to create a square crop around the high peak - which for me is the subject of most interest. I'm not sure the rest of the composition adds strenth.

Reflection #1 seems a little "bottom-heavy" and "dark", but the concept is a good one.

Reflection #2 gets my vote as it's a little more even overall. Nice Monet style! Might be a good repeat with fall colors?

Ken-thanks for the feedback.

On autumn colors and reflections that's exactly what I was thinking this morning. I was thinking how to make it better. Aspens Monet style for sure!

Has anyone mentioned the reflection shots are totally cool?!
Great stuff, Art!

Reflections? Are there reflections in this post? These are cool semi-abstract due to the not so smooth rippled water, Nice job!

I absolutely love the first three. The reflection shot, #3, is really fantastic. Great abstract look.

Lighter reflection exposure and some masks/curves to avoid the cloud reflections blowing out per Ken's suggestion.

I'm not especially wild about the first two, but think you did a great job redoing that reflection.

More confirmation ... REFLECTIONS! Great work. I still can't figure out the original orientation on the rework. Looks like it could work either way - vertically flipped. It's very, very cool as presented.
