I was working on an image and got it where I wanted in the develop mode, but when I swithced back to Library mode, not all the changes appeared in the image, specifically some color saturation shifts I had made. Other changes, such as curve adjustments and crop seem fine...any ideas?

Are the changes still there in the Develop History if you switch back to Develop mode?

That's strange. I've never seen this or heard of such a problem.
How about creating a virtual copy from Develop Mode with the changes displayed and see what the Virtual Copy looks like in Library mode? or save as a tif file from Develop mode to see if the changes show up in Library mode?

you might try optimizing your catalog maybe that will help.
Edit -> Catalog settings -> Relaunch and optimize
