On my way to the hide I use near Sandwich, I noticed something dragging its way through the air. As I got closer I could see that it was an immature peregrine with a kill, a wood pigeon. Although I had my camera and lens ready, I did not have the converter, so this is only about 25% of the full frame, nor did I have a tripod.
This is the one half decent shot of the dozen or so that I managed to fire off, but, as ever, I find myself wondering what might have been were I better prepared. Of course, I could have been better prepared and got nothing. That's life!

I know the feeling well. Perhaps somebody somewhere will find something to find fault with, but as far as I'm concerned you've achieved a more than adequate image in the circumstances. Well done, and thanks for showing.

This is as it happened, life as it is, and a first class record at that. Caught on the hop may be but that brings additional value.
Well seen and captured,

Hi David,
A very decent picture considering the circumstances

No bad at all considering the circumstances.
Andy...
I think you did a fine job, considering the circumstances.
