1D2n, 600mm f4 is, x1.4tc, 1/100s, f8, iso 400. Setting sun.
I stumbled across these two youngsters sitting quietly on a fence yesterday, and it wasn't long before the action started. There's a lot about the image that isn't ideal, but I thought I would post it anyway! It was a bit like roulette really. There were three youngsters on the fence, at an angle to the plane of focus. I would focus on one, and sure as guns mum would feed the other!

It works for me. You've focussed right where the action is, against a great BG. Well done indeed.

Great timing Ian and as you say there are certain parts of the image that arn't ideal, nice action though.

that's well timed Ian, shame about the bird in the foreground but I can imagine this was a quickly changing scene. Still a very interesting shot.

Nice intimate shot, Ian. Like Matt, I find the bird in the foreground a little distracting but in a natural situation you take what you can get.
Cheer,
Chris

That really is "in your face" isn't it? Great shot, with bags of impact.

I hope they get a move on and head off south soon - we've only got the odd straggler left around here now.
