European Skipper
Another European Skipper, taken on another morning. There was as good as no dew and it was a bit windy. All comments are welcome and appreciated.
Nikon D80 with Sigma 150 mm macro, iso 200, f 14, 1/50 sec. on a tripod.

I really like the graduated background Sandra and the light looks nice too. The butterfly is perhaps a bit low in the frame but still a very nice image.

Beautiful tones, I much prefer this one to the dew covered variety, great photo although as Matt says maybe a bit bottom heavy.

I think a different composition is like a breath of fresh air. Very nice indeed and lovely background as well :jump:

Great use of complementing colours, but would agree RE: bottom heavy.

I think if you moved your signature it would help, otherwise I like it a lot, beautiful autumnal colours and an unusual composition.

Beautiful BG Sandra, IMO the Skipper needs to be more side on to give a better comp.

Hello Sandra.

Nits covered but I think this is a really nice image all three elements are nice on there own.
The subject, background and the light all work really well together.
