Looks good Ben. I'd take the reds down in saturation by a hair.

Very nice. I do agree with Floris about the reds - a little too much, especially on the peaks to the right.

The underwater browns/yellow have definitely improved. You might tweak the reds, maybe some hue adjustment besides desaturating it. Towards orange.

Benjamin,
Big difference! The new version makes the old version look flat and drab. :-) I really like the re-worked version, but would agree with some tweaks. I don't mind the reds so much, but in addition I think the sky is a bit towards the cyan side of things now. Of course it's all about personal preferences at this stage of the game.
I did just notice though in the recent version, the quite large halo over the mountain on the right that isn't present in the old version. Somethin' you should probably take a look at fixing. Some color difference above and left of the left peak is also visible.
This one is real close though - and a beautiful alpine scene.

Big improvement! I agree with Lon about the cyan sky. Nice image!

Second photo is much better from a saturation level. Which direction is the sunlight coming from the right side? The red on the rigth peak does seem a little stronger. The left peak has the sweet Alpenglow,

Thank you so much for your help. I have fixed the suggestions mentioned above... toned down the red (I had added a selective color layer to give the red more umph, I just went ahead and deleted it though), also fixed the haloing that Lon mentioned, and turned down the cyan in the sky.
The new version is posted in ess if you're interested...

This brings back great memories of a spot I visited in Wyoming - Lake Maire. Was this taken near Lake Marie?
