After purchasing a membership I'm unable to register as listed below. I have been an observer and commenter for over a year and have a registration ID but it supposedly needs updating. I presume the moderators are very busy and I have not received suggestion on how to solve the problem.
In summation, I can't find the "Preferences" link in the green navigation bar as listed below, verbaum, from the Mebership location on the "green" bar. It must be there....???? I've tried as not logged in as as logged in.
Suggestions needed...

Updating Exisiting Forum Registrations
If you previously registered to use the NPN forums and galleries before becoming a paid member, you must edit your Preferences to enable your membership benefits;
Enter forums and then select the Preferences link in the green navigation bar (Log in if the Preferences link does not appear)
Enter your 14-digit member number in the Enter Your Member ID field
Click the Submit Registration Information button

Larry,
Look above....the Preferences link is directly above the post title "Membership" - you must be logged in to see it.
Please let me know if you still encounter any difficulty!

Larry,
I had some difficulty seeing items in the green bar after I first became a member. It turned out that I had to relax my browser cookie settings. If you're running a firewall, those settings could get in the way as well. If it is related to cookie settings, I don't think you need to allow all cookies but you may need a medium setting such as allowing persistent cookies. Good firewall software would let you do this selectively for different websites.
Just a possible solution,

I kept going to the Fourm section, then looking for Preferences. Not a real good start to membership, eh?

Larry, good to hear (see) we got it squared away! There's a lot of "stuff" on the NPN site and sometimes, it's doesn't seem so obvious.
