Still learning about black and white.
A side note is that my GPS tried to kill me by taking me on a road leading out of Crystal. I wisely stopped before crossing one of the most deadly passes in Colorado.
I was reminded to look more closely at those topo maps.

Very. I was there about two days late a couple of years ago and it was still pretty interesting. I was driving a Toyota Matrix, so I had to do the Jeep tour deal. And yes, according to the driver, you can sure get in trouble if you take the wrong road.

Beautiful image in BW Rod. Yea those GPS units will pick the shortest route into danger. Not sure why some roads are on them when they shouldn't be. It's best to refer to a map in conjuction with your GPS I agree.
