Another from the weekend away in Wales.
Again harsh lighting ,the compression hasn't helped the highs.
Hope your back isn't as bad as mine Jules after stooping so low into all that marsh/bog.Thanks Andy for the inspiration to post it.
A sliver off the right perhaps?

Hi Mark,
Interesting pose, it looked a little soft so I had a play, noticed it was in adobe colour space think for web images sRGB is best still.
Hope I see one one day.

Thanks Tim , much better . Mental note to change to sRGB.
Nicely captured Mark. I had trouble with the sRGB as well. So much to remember

Hello Mark.
Lovely bird and a nice pose and the dark background as worked a treat to help the bird really stand out.

Hello Mark
Very nice great pose and who told you to get that low at your age Why is there a bit of noise in this image there shouldn't be at this ISO setting

LOL all . Thank you .Ok Andy you were right again .
Noise ?Once I've finished with Andy's glasses you can borrow them.I've had another gander at the tiff and it is very much noise free, but thanks for the tip off .I suspect the jpeg conversion isn't helping here .
My back is now much improved and I understand Gitzo are doing a Zimmer frame attachment which should make life easier.LOL
