Taken in Oban in Early August

ISO 500
SS 1/600
F/5
400MM F/2.8
1DMKIII

Slight brighten and boost of saturation in Aperture. cropped 15% from top and LHS

As always C&C welcome and appreciated

Kind Regards

Andy

Well, in general a nice shot, a little messy in a way but more noticeably needing some clockwise rotation.

Good use of DOF and in general a pretty handy image and one just to re-process a tad and you're there.

Nice and sharp with bpth birds looking down the barrel. Very nice, but I would put back what you cropped off and then rotate and re-crop as little as possible.

1.92 degrees of clockwise rotation Andy - were the pirates boarding the boat while you were processing

Thankyou for the comments guys, i will tweek it once im more awake and repost it, Im glad you feel its got potential, for me its the gull on the water looking at the camera that makes the shot.

here's the shot with the suggested adjustments, i added a touch more saturation and some contrast. Not sure if i've over corrected the horizontal, i tried to line up the grid with the eyes of the gull in the water.

Kind regards
