I spent last Sun/Mon/Tue in the Bridgeport area fly fishing with my son, caught and released some very nice Bows and Browns and took a few point and shoot pics. Afternoon temps were in the low to mid 70's, high 40's low 50's at night. The aspen are changing...lots of very light green color already and many have already turned yellow; it won't be long. And the ubiquitous rabbit brush are out in full force with lots of yellow flower heads.

I'll also pass along the fly fishing update to my brother Tom. He loves fishing that area as well.

I'll have a report next Sunday for the prior weekend as if you fall color hounds aren't salivating enough already. My wife is draggin' me ( right) to our cabin at Aberdeen 30 miles south of Bishop, and where I'll be staying the weekend of the gathering. It's in striking distance of Big Pine Creek South and North fork of Bishop creek Pine creek, Rock reek.Convict lake ad infinitum, any requests for scouting info?
