Nice image David. Like the in focus spruce in the foreground and out of focus in the background. Saw one of these in a wood I visited 2 weeks ago and wasn't sure what it was. It was on a plant close to some Shield Beetles and thought it might have been of the same family as it is similar in shape. Is it a garden or an estate you have? It seems to contain one heck of a lot of plants, shrubs, trees etc

Another very nice shot from the Taylor estate
Only nit for me is the head looks a bit soft

Thanks for the comments, folks. Here is a shot showing it head on.
Maggie, apparently they a fairly commom but spend most of their time in the tree canopy, prefering oak. No estate yet, unfortunately. I get complaints from my daughter and granddaughter that they can't get in my garden for trees and things in pots. I'm hoping to have a clear out before next spring, weather and health permitting. The blue spruce is only about three feet tall, one I rescued from the skip at work after Christmas last year.

I prefer the second one by far, because the first definitely looked too soft to me. Some great stuff lately. Eric
