Can't decide which white balance to use
I originally took this picture with warmer tones to get more etheral effect. Now I'm wondering if it looks better with the cooler. Need some opinions. Which do you think is more interesting? Thanks.

Ditto.
I like the contrast between the warm and cool tones.

Now that you have a consensus, can you tell us a story behind this interesting image?

WOW. I really love all the feedback. Yes, it looks like #2 is the winner by far! This was taken at Kauai on the beach. I thought these trees were quite interesting so I used a flashlight to highlight the tree during a long exposure. I wanted to make a print of the picture and since that costs, especially with framing, I wanted to be sure which one would be better. Thanks all!!! :toast:

Neat image! The contrast between the warm tones on the tree and the cool colors of the moon and see makes #2 feel much more lively to me, and no less ethereal. Well done!

#2, the first just doesn't feel quite "right".

#2. I like the color contrast and the sky/clouds look more natural.

I'm going to have to be the weird one and say I like the more etheral effect of #1.

Number 2 looks more like reality to these "old" eyes.
