Osprey braking hard
With all the awesome Osprey pic's being posted
every sommer from around the world, i thought i
would pitch in with one of mine. No fish in
tallons or anything fancy.

This guy came around 3 times before he actually landed
on the nest, which was good, because i had the ef-s
18-200 mounted lol, not the fastest on lenses to say
the least

cheers

Hi Drew, yep you are spot on.

midday sun in Florida last summer, i wish the light would have been softer
but not a cloud in the sky.

you take what you can get in these situations right

i was standing in their driveway when i took this,
approx. 20 meters from the nest.

it's from Sanibel island in Florida. those guys have all the luck :argue:

Christian

A great subject well captured. If that's the prevailing light you have no choice.

Nice action image Christian, you have captured the bird in a great pose & it stands out well against the nice bright blue sky.

Not ideal conditions by the looks of it, but a very nice shot in the circumstances.
