Hover Fly
One from yesterday. Was after Dragons but unfortunately the sun wasn't coming out to play nor were the Dragons. Either that or Ian's pet Southern Hawker "Sammie" decided he was shy in the company of women. :biggrin:

Very nice indeed, Maggie. Plenty of detail. Although an excellent BG there's too much space at the top for my taste, though, I like my images BIF :smile: :wink: It would be fine if you were intending it for printing on. :smile:

I was going to say that it looked almost like studio lighting, works well nice bit ingenuity, interesting shot.

Couple of things: could possibly do with the subject slightly higher in the frame, and your WB is out - bit too warm overall.

But a well executed macro shot nontheless Maggie :toast:

Very nice, agree with the mentioned improvements but that diffused flash has certainly worked very well...

Lovely shot. May be a little crop on the top but that's all imo.
