Thursday Waterfalls

I love waterfalls in September, it's like Christmas coming early for me. I went with Zach Andrews to Longpool, Haw Creek, Packrat, Broadwater, and Magnolia. Water was pretty good everywhere except Haw creek and Packrat. This is Longpool and I have a few more shots from the day here http://matthewkennedyphotography.blogspot.com/ with more to come as I get them processed.

Aaarghhh! I am SO jealous of you guys being able to get there while this was going on. GREAT image and for anyone who has never been there this place is HUGE!!!! And the pano of Broadwater is really nice also. Put it on the list of places I have got to visit.

I'm slightly jealous! I realllly wanted to get out and shoot during all this water, but alas, a girl has to work. Some nice shots...I like the pano of Broadwater the best...I also liked the angle you got on the lower Longpool Fall.

Do you have the camera settings for the waterfall movement?

Polarizer ??? or naked lens ???

The image here of longpool falls was f/9.5, 2 seconds ISO 100 18mm. With a circular polarizer.

Matt, what a great day and great shots! The pano of Broadwater with the touch of fall in the FG is excellent.
