One from down south. These three gentoo penguins had a dispute about ownership of a small piece of ice at Necko harbour. Moments later and there were only two.

Taken from a zodiac with a Canon 40D,70-200mm f4 L IS, 1/1000 f5.6 ISO 100.

Slight crop mostly from top and RHS.

Super shot. I can't be sure, but a little a/c rotation? My first impression was that it looks a bit lopsided, but it may just be in my mind. Anyway excellent interaction between the birds and not a cliche shot which is a great achievement in itself for a penguin image these days.

Very nice Deborah. Would make a good greeting card especially with a "bubble". There are endless things the penguins could be saying to each other. :biggrin:
