Spent the morning hiking up in Kenosha Pass. Here are a few of the better shots. As always, I would love C&C and tips on how to improve. Thanks in advance.

#1 - This was a manual blend of 2 exposures in PS, one for the sky and another for the rest.

#3 is interesting. I'd like to see some part of the image sharp...maybe leave the front aspen a little sharp. #1 doesn't do anything for me...blah lighting, blah sky...the composition seems kind of random and doesn't give much order to the scene. #2 & #4 are better and well-executed but the elements in the shot don't quite "grab" me. But #4 is the type of shot that can be good for stock photography.

Grant, thanks for the feedback. I will work on the composition. As for the lighting, it seems like when shooting the Aspens, it is better to wait for the sun to actually peak and light them up a bit. I will try to go somewhere this weekend and get more practice with the fall colors. =)

I like the colors in #1, and I like the action and movement in #2. I think a tighter crop on #2 might help bring the flower into better prominence. The exposures look good in all.

Great images! Like the color and the the effect in the third image. Nice panning on the biker as well.

I like the colors and light in the first photo, but really dislike that middle part with white/yellow grass. If I were to look at that scene, I would have zoomed into the upper right 1/8 of the photo. Thanks for posting.

#3 is very cool. I think the main thing wrong with #1 is it's lacking a good composition; my eyes aren't really drawn into the image.

Love 2, 3 and 4. Try cropping down to make it square. This will make the flower more dominant.
