Backlit Pied Wagtail

Hi all,

This shot was taken last week in southwest Ireland, really beautiful place and some stunning weather for a change! This Pied Wagtail was making the most of the last rays of the sun before going off to roost. Any advice and critique welcome as always.

Thanks for looking,

Lewis.

Different approach & I like it, has a 'western' feel about it. The colour is excellent and looks pretty sharp to !

that's very nice Lewis. The colours in the sky and the rim lighting make a very attractive shot.

Hi Lewis, the colours in the shot are fantastic. I may try with a less central position for the bird, but I love this shot as is. Well done :toast:

Thanks Matt and Marcus, I do have a little more room on the left.

Cheers,
