Taken recently from a hide on my local farm, but I am not sure what it is. Can anyone help with ID please?
Any other C&C also welcome.

Hi Mike
I believe this little beauty may be a young Lesser Whitethroat. They're often found in berry-bearing trees/shrubs at this time of year and looking particularly bright.
If I'm wrong then my apologies and doubtless someone will correct me.
Nice shot by the way
Nice image of what I presume was a surprise at the time?

It was very much a surprise. I have been feeding the birds on my local farm for about a year, but have only recently put in a permanent hide. This was from the new hide, and is one of the few "unusual" birds I have pictured so far. I get mainly blue tits and great tits and, lovely though they are, it is good to see something different.
Thanks for the comments and the ID folks.

If you were wanting a 3rd opinion, the 1st and 2nd opinions are right - its a lesser whitethroat! Nice pic!
