Anyone tentatively planning on camping up there in Lee Vining/Mono Lake or the June Lake Loop near Silver Lake on the weekend during the nature appreciation day or fall meet up? I was really just thinking of Saturday evening.
If anyone is interested let me know.
Maybe I can reserve a spot or two and bring some extra firewood and goodies.

I'm in Steve -- I was thinking about trying photograph Mono Lake Sunday morning and camping near there. I've never been to Mono before, but it sounds like there are a few spots near the lake. I'm up for an alternate site in Lee Vining, June Lake, or Silver Lake too if that works out better.

Souds good, There are two more us of camping Mike. That's all the same general area so the South Shore is only minutes away and the west shore is almost just across the street from Lee Vining. We'll keep in touch.
