Well i would say a very nearly lovely image but for me the oof white blobs distract too much, Looking at the specs you could have gotten away with a lower ISO as well-looks a bit noisey on my laptop for 400

Graham,
have to agree with Dave, think this is case of too many images to process from your Norfolk trip mate

Not quite your normal high standard

I like what you've done here, especially the colours and patterns of the foreground and background, though have to agree that the 3 lighter areas in the foreground (centre, right and especially around bird's tail) could perhaps be toned in a bit better.

As for the noise - doesn't bother me too much and, as has been said, easily dealt with.

Overall a nice, simple but effective composition in my humble opinion

Now that's a cracking image Graham :toast:

A bit of work in PS should get rid of the light area around the back of the bird, other areas don't particularly bother me.

But it's a very nice image indeed - nice one Graham :wavey:

Nits mentioned. Nice FG & BG in terms of colours and you have isolated the subject well.

Hi Graham,

Very nice, the white oof bits don't really bother me, although I would agree about the noise.

Cheers,

Lewis.
