This was shot this weekend at Geneva Creek just a few yards from my tent. The sunset was very brief and only gave a glimmer of color but I still like the clouds. I forgot to pick up the little branch in the foreground and it's bothering me somewhat. I can't decide what would work better: cropping or cloning. Any feedback is always welcome.

Nice scenery.
A bit too much foreground for my taste, though.
I think it would be an asset if you cropped up from the bottom to just below that rectangular rock near the center and right by the end of the stick.
Best of luck back East!

I like the cropped version a little better, but you got some great light and color going here. Nice pp work, too. A really really nice shot!

Last day of summer??? Seemed like first day of winter here in Monument!!! I hope this cold snap helps the trees and does not destroy them. Glad you get to stick around a bit longer for the trees! Oops... I like the croped version better also.

Yeah, i just drove through lots of snow--what a great storm! This is real pretty, Aleks! Personally, I prefer the uncropped version, not only because of the thirds but because i like all the rocks/pebbles in the fg and the branch is fine with me--it points to the falls which is pretty cool.

like mr. Rose, I prefer the first version. I feel like I can step into the image, which is desirable.

I guess I like it either way. Love the rich color!
