Photography of those birds in the previous image taking off from the shoreland having stayed until the very last drop of sea water had covered the land, here their reflections can be seen in the sea as I lay level with the very calm sea water and planned with my camera focused the main body of the flock to get this image, again the noise and movement was breathtaking and it was a privlege to have been so close.
Getting a bit arty in your old age!!!!!
Really nice, well thought out and conceived.

I've got to say that's quite impressive
Don't know if the lilac colour wouldn't be better replaced by something slightly bluer - but it's a nice image.

Thank you all,Craig C I feel old!! I have had to do something after all these brillant Polar Bears images and Danny rubs it in with one of my favorite mammals So I've turned 'arty', Andy A,- have played with the 'Hue' alittle as I feared people would say this one, thats almost out of the camera is a little 'cold' I have posted it so people can let me know, but thank you for your comment, and a few more 'arty' ones can be seen on my 'www' site below

Very nice work Craig - personally I prefer the original version

Funny how just one bird can hold everything together in this sort of shot.
Cheers,

Lovely shot allthough i prefer your previous one and a horizontal crop.

First one for me as well, Craig. although the second one has merit as well. A great sense of movement has been portrayed. Excellent.

Hi Craig
Very nice, colours in both images work - just the right amount of blur!

Very nice treatment - you got the movement spot on. Not that it matters, but I'd choose the first one.

Fantastic image Craig, like them both but the first one just a tad more I think

It's an almost for me. Given that all the movement is lateral I'd really want to see a horizontal view (preferably another one of the above bolted on the LHS if you see what I mean, not a crop of this). And just to be difficult I'd like the colour halfway between the two !
