I will be flying out for a week (approx Oct11-17) mainly to shoot the fall colors in the Jap.garden. Also may hit again the Col.river gorge. Any other musts that time of year? I dont mind driving if I finish gardens early. Advice appreciated.

Silver Falls State Park could be good then. That's also a nice time to visit the coast, weatherwise.
