I have sold my house in N. Va. and am headed for Asheville this Friday (9/25) on a house buying trip. We hope to move before Thanksgiving since we have to vacate this house by Dec. 1 and I am scheduled to retire on Jan 2. After that I guess I can become a full-time photo and trout bum.
So how many photographers do we have in the immediate Asheville area? I know about the local nature photography club there but just wondered how many of you guys are there? Also, are there any reliable photo printers down there that can do fine are prints or am I going to have to do my own and/or deal with mail orders.
Hopefully we can get some gatherings together down that way next spring or at least I'll see you on a trail somewhere down there--Larry

Hi Larry,
Check out CNPA-Asheville.org. It's the Carolina's Nature Photographers Association and there are about 150 or more members in the Asheville area. The general CNPA.org web site will give you a ton of information about the group. I've moved away myself, but while I was there, it was an incredibly active group and I think you'll really enjoy it.
