Inge, welcome to CANP. I think this might be your first post or at least it shows that. Thank you for sharing all this information, especially the September 23rd link with the photos. No doubt, those photos alone provide an excellent update as to where things have progressed leading into our planned outing on and around the 4th.
Hope to see you up there at that time.

Thank you for the welcome Paul. I posted here before, but it has been a long while. I met some from this forum last year and will try to make it to this years outing. I have one more marathon trip planned for next week and I am planning on posting what I find. The dweeb report predicts the first fall trof with freezing temps for the first part of next week.

It sure is pretty up there right now. I don't think there were as many reds last year. Thanks for sharing!

Inge, great post and really appreciate you sharing your experiences.
That one day trip sounds like a really crazy kamakazi run. I've done a one day trip from Monterey to Yosemite in the Winter which I thought was long. But your trip definately tops that in terms of driving. You must have been running on adrenaline all day to Not fall asleep.
Anyway thanks for sharing your Fall color passion with us. It really shines through in your work.

Thanks for the report and I like the image. I do find the watermark a bit distracting (especially on an image of this size). Personally, I like the way you present your older work on your site without the watermark. Look forward to your future posts.

Eric, Sorry about the watermark - but in recent years the amount of images stolen from the web is enormous. I am pulling this image from flickr and just cannot differentiate between this website and flickr. You are to see my watermark I use for facebook. I have 11 pro images on webshots and every image was stolen and ended up on Russian and Asian websites. No copyright is going to help me there. The images from my website have not been uglyfied because I am too lazy to go back and start over. I started the watermarking a year ago after I found out about my images were stolen.
