I'm going to Vero Beach next week for a gallery opening; flying into Ft Lauderdale and driving up to coast. Can anyone recommend any good shooting locations nearby? Thanks!

35-40 minutes north of the FT Lauderdale airport, we have three wetlands - Wakodahatchee, Green Cay, and the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge. Bird activity at all three has been slow lately. On any given day, there may be some shots at one of them. Green Cay is probably the best bet.
Almost all of the photos in the Wetlands and Flight Shots galleries on my site are from these 3 places.
