I put up a page for my weekend trip to Twin Lakes and Apsen. Wish the colors were a little better but the willows were nice and at least it snowed! Here's the highlites: Fall2009

Sweet one here Stan! Prepare the royalties for TC! I will check out your link later.

This is a nicer set than you typically see at Hooters! Great collection, Stan. The diversity is stunning, too. The willows around Cathedral Lake look very impressive, and those shots of Sleeping Sexton's spires with the drifting fog (esp. the b&w one) are fantastic. Thanks for the vicarious look at what I was missing while in Illinois. You should be very proud of these.
Hope there's some left this coming week, wherever I happen to end up. Bring on the storms!

Thanks, Todd! The next storm still looks good for Wed-Thu. I think you mean Sievers, Sleeping Sexton is the mountain on the other side with fewer spires

Some really stunning work Stan! Number 4 is my favorite but you have a lot in there that are amazingly beautiful! I now want to give up shooting for the rest of the autumn.

Super gallery, Stan. I have to agree with Erik, #4 is also my favorite

You did a great job of pulling out the color that was there.
Nice!

Very nice stuff as others have said. A very good outing and you have good reason to be pleased I think 12 and 4 are the strongest out of the set.

You're absolutely right. I was just testing you.

Some nice shots Stan, looks like you found some nice color. I wish we could get that kind of weather here in Utah. Been blue skies and sunny every single day, would love to see some clouds.
Nice Stan. Good to see somebody get some colors. I went out yesterday with Veroncia and was pretty disappointed. I like the shot you are showing here the best (I think it is #12 on your link) But the entire grouping is nice.

Great stuff, Stan. This image is probably my favorite, but you came away with some killer shots. Well done.

What an amazing series! You sure had some great weather to work with.
The colors are almost secondary to the weather conditions, and the one you have posted here is a fine example.
Something about #6 with the fallen aspen tree really appeals to me.
And of course, #4 is pretty spectacular and rather unique for the area.
The way this autumn is shaping up around these parts, you may very well have some of the better images taken this year!

This shot here is freakin awesome!!!! My favorite of the series for sure. I also dig the Cathedral Lake shots.

I agree with John that you may end of with the best shots of this fall. Superb work and I like this shot also as well as the Cathedral Lake shots the best, but all of them are just excellent.

#4,#15,#17, and #22 really stood out for me. Very excellent series and color! Where is the location for #22?

I LOVE #4, the comp is not the usual one from that spot and the color is fantastic. I also really like #17, the red clouds mixed with the simplicity of that aspen stand makes the shot stand out to me from the group.
