Fallow Buck on the move
One from a day at Bradgate Park Saturday. We sat and waited for 3 or 4 Bucks to stop sleeping. All of a sudden this one made a dash across the stream. I was a bit too close and clipped the tail

Only shot I regret not getting was Maggie going base over apex into the water

Nice movement and like the water splashes. Shame about the tail but at least you got the title correct

As a gentleman you wouldn't have posted the oher shot would you?

I love the action captured, and would have liked it even more if the tail had been complete, but in wildlife photography sometimes we have to take what we can get.

Assuming this was taken at about the same as Maggie's shot, I guess flash wasn't required. What lovely light. :toast:

Yes a bit more on the left would have been nice, but still a very good action shot. Pity you missed the shot of the day.

Nits covered, but a great action shot. Makes a change to see them in water.
