A Little Egret feeding after the tide has gone out and exposed this moon-like landscape on the Norfolk coast. I liked all the lines of the mud and how they added to the image IMO, the Egret gives the place a sense of scale here I feel.Hello to all the gents I met at the BWPA awards on wednesday, great night and very humbling to have had an image on display

interesting image, i like the texture but i think it would have to be a bit bigger to appreciate the bird though, congrats on your BWPA sucess, would i be right in guessing they dont display all the images on the website as several people have alluded to success yet i can't find the pictures on website
Craig I'm not sure this really works for me but I admire how you always try to create something out of the ordinary. Congratulations on having an image displayed at the BWPA, something to be proud of.

Jack, they have only displayed a few on their site and the rest/short- listed/commended are in the display touring the UK over the next ten months.Maggie thank you for your comment and respect your honest approach, and on a seperate issue look out for my Dipper article in Birdwatching Magazine about a place not to far from you,all the best
Will keep my eye out Craig. At this rate I'll be wanting your autograph

I like the striations, punctuated by the Egret. A distinctive image in the Craig Jones' style. Congratulations on having an image displayed at the BWPA awards.
I too have had some success see http://www.dpreview.com/challenges/Challenge.aspx?ID=2152 achieved 3rd place. You saw it here first

I like the concept, but would prefer it if the egret were just a little larger.
Only an opinion.

I like the idea but as shown the picture lasks clarity. Which is not to say that it wouldn't be there in a larger version, jpg compression is often rather unkind.

Interesting composition and texture but like a few people I feel the lack of detail in the egret makes the image not work IMO.

Nice image Craig, the texture of the mud flats looks good & the egret does add interest. I too would like the Egret to be bigger in the image.
The second post is very nice too, Very good comp, nice reflection & well exposed

Both images are very nice Craig, but if I'm honest the first one has a greater impact.
