WetJay
Just about recovered after a massive computer crash and virus. Just from trying to delete an E mail ! Lost a fair bit of stuff and interest but the two new pool hides are starting to show results.
Got a fair bit in the can to be going on with.
Heres a wet Jay for starters.
D200
Sigma 50-500.

I was wondering where you'd got to, conspicuous as you were by the absence of your excellent images.  A great image to mark your return. Excellent focus on the eye, and a a great sense of movement.

Great shot, really different to what you normally see. It would be nice if the light was better but looking forward to more.

Thanks.
I will just say that its a wierd feeling when you loose stuff that may have meant sitting in a hide for several hours.
But then you realise its just a few pictures and there are people with problems which are farmore serious.
About 20 species in the new pools so far ! A great incentive especially with Green Woodpeckers.
Cheers
Thanks again.

nice to see you back John, I was also wondering where you'd got to. A very nice shot, made by the sharp eye in the midst of all that movement. Well taken.

Not a bad record shot, but not quite there for me.

Hello John.

Lovely capture for me and its good to see you back.

Had my first Jay come to my effort of a pool the other day, but he soon clocked me and left as fast as he came. Still good to now they ve found it.

Guy
Thanks.
One thing I am sure you will find .Spook a few birds at apool and some never come back !
It only needs that front of the lens to move too much and thats it for two or three days !
Cheers
