Watch out Maggie, Danny is looking forward to the rut. I'd stay well away if I was you!
Lovely shot and it is unusual to see deer shots from this slightly elevated angle, which helps to make it a bit different from the norm as well. Nice one. Eric

I agree with Eric the elevated angle helps to make this image a little different from the norm.
A little large in the frame for me, I'd prefer to see a little more of the deer.

Nicely exposed, but I think I would rather see a slightly lower viewpoint.

Hi Maggie,
I agree with David on this one, the exposure is spot on and a lower POV would suit the portrait format better, nice one.

Lovely detail and colour in this Maggie, but personally I too prefer a lower POV, nice work however.

I like the way you have caught it in mid-chew, portraying a slightly disgruntled expression. Of course, I like the elevated angle. Be different, it is much more satisfying. Though not always conducive to an easy life.
Thanks everyone. If only it had appeared while I was sitting in the stream I would have had no problem with a lower POV
Yes Eric I must say I was slightly concerned about Danny's comment
Who wants an easy life David?
