Well all the waterfall shots coming from Arkansas have been driving me crazy so I had to go out and photograph some water myself. The only thing I have nearby besides Pillsbury Crossing is this area at Wildcat Park

Looks good to me. The wide angle perspective and foreground leaf work well.

Very nice Scott. This has got a good damp, autumn feel about it. I love the rich tones.

Scott I really like the maple leaf in the foreground. That really makes the image to me. Nice job.

Really nice Scott...The water exposure is just right to create the movement and that velvet look. I like the maple leaf in the foreground as well...Come see us in the Natural State!

Scott, as others have said, the maple leaf makes this a strong image.

A very nice intimate landscape shot Scott. I really like how you composed this image.
I might have done some "housekeeping" and removed the big leaf at LL to really place the emphasis on the maple leaf but this is very nice as is.
Did you use any polarization on this one?

Beautiful Scott, I agree the maple leaf completes the image. I looked at your gallery, and I like the second and fourth images as well as this one. It looks like you have some nice fall colors already.
Where is Wildcat Park?

Really nice autumn feel to this one, Scott. I agree with Wayne's suggestion to have maybe removed the big sycamore leaf to place more emphasis on the maple. But still a great shot either way.

It's got a glossy look to it... Maybe you should print it in glossy! A polarizer would have taken that cool effect away. Very nice.

Thanks everyone! I'm probably going to head back out to Wildcat Park this Friday or Saturday and try some more shots.
Rob: Wildcat Park is west of Manhattan off of Anderson Ave (between Manhattan and Keats).
Wayne: I didn't use a polarizer on this shot, I wish I would have shot some with and without to see what they looked like with the reflections taken out by the polarizer. I did dodge down some of the brighter areas in this shot.
Aaron..hmmm good idea, I think I will print this on some really glossy paper and see how it looks, thanks for the idea!
