I went up to Rocky Mountain NP this past weekend to see how the colors were coming along. My impressions mirror those posted in the Fall Foliage Reports thread. Hadn't been to Sprague Lake in a few years so I thought I would try sunrise from there. Of course the breeze was blowing nice and steady so I did some long exposures to try and smooth them out a little. This image gives me more the feeling of summer giving way to autumn than a full on autumn colors shot. Thanks for looking.

I see your train of thought there, Doug, and I agree. It's a beauty, and conveys change very well.

Really nice light and color. The comp is fine, too. Very well done, and it does convey your thought.
