Right, when I say push…..
Two young fallow bucks testing their strength. They did this for about half an hour, with varying degrees of effort on both sides. Apparently the large bucks and stags rarely fight, but the young ones are prepared to put on a show.

All C&C welcome.

Nice to see the two colour variants together. They look a bit a bit confused as to what they should be doing, like a couple of teenagers ! Do you have any where they are actually pushing against each other Mike? In this image the two bucks look a little bit static.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Robert, I didn't get any decent shots of them pushing, this was the best, hence the title.

The red deer stags were more energetic, but were doing their fighting in dense bracken, so all I got was antlers and backs.

Did well here, an excellent capture.

I would have liked to see more space around the deer on all sides, both personally and also from a potentially commercial perspective.

Nice one Mike although the colours look a little bit over-saturated on my monitor.
I like the comp.

Greens are always tricky with the stauration levels - especially when it's a green light setting such as woodland that you've got here.

Nice capture though and l like the contrastind deer colorations.

Having a good autumn on these aren't you - and it hasn't really got going yet!!
