Red in brown
It's a long time ago that I post a picture. I'ts been very busy so I had not much time to photograph.
But yesterday, returning home from work I spent a few hours in our national reserve "De Hoge Veluwe" where are a number of red deers.

Because there are a lot of pictures of red deers in color I decide to do something else.

Hope you like it. Please let me know what you think about it.

Exposure time 1/800 s
F-number f/5.6
Exposure program Aperture priority
ISO speed ratings ISO 200
Focal length 700 mm
Focus mode AI Servo

Thanks for looking

Nice shot, works well as a B&W,

Personally I would re-compose it, so that the stag is facing to the right, but that is just me.

Whether you like it one way or the other, is really irrelevant. I do think though, that it is always worth considering. Sometimes the difference can be surprising.

prefer the second image. Can't wait to be out and about during the rut, two weeks before I can go though.

Wonder if its worth cloning out the branch on the right so that the deer doesm't look as though he is going to be jabbed in the eye??? prob to big to cleanly clone out.
