I just returned from SW Colorado. The days we spent in the Ouray were clear and beautiful. The colors were fantastic. I was hoping for clouds in the sky but they appeared when we left on Thursday morning for Denver darnit. Oh well. this is Jack's Cabin across from Silver Jack Resevoir along Owl Creek Rd.

Amanda, it looks like you caught the colors just about right. Owl Creek road is an area that I need to explore one of these days.
Looks like the peak of color there to me too - beautiful photograph! I love that range of mountains along Owl Creek Rd. Uncompahgres I believe. Hope you'll post some more!
