With Rene's permission, I submitted an application for a group photo show at the Westminster, College Hill Library. The library only schedules 3 exhibits per year, and two are grandfathered, so I was pleasantly surprised when they selected our group for the only open slot in 2010. I believe the photos of our previous two shows in the Capitol Rotunda really helped in the selection.
College Hill is a combined library for Westminster and the Front Range Community College. The interior is open with great light and plenty of display room. It is located on 112th Ave, just east of Sheridan Blvd. Adams County schools use it for their annual district art display.
This will be a 4 week exhibit. We get to choose from July, August or September. I feel September is out because the take-down would conflict with fall color outings. Do any of you have a strong preference for July or August. I'm leaning towards August, since a July installation could conflict with July 4th travel plans.
We'll have a group vote for image selection. It will be open to all RMNP members. The images can be any nature / landscape subject within the official 7 states covered by RMNP.
The library does allow posting prices and contact information for image sales.
I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of great images from the group.

August gets my vote. It is a beautiful building. My wife is a library volunteer up there!

Well, that was an easy decision.
I've informed the library of our August choice.
Now the tough part will be for you guys to select a favorite image to print and hang.
I believe we should have the group vote completed by the end of May.
That would allow 2 months for printing, mounting, and possibly shipping for those out of the area.
Do you guys feel that 8 weeks is allowing enough time, or should be have the selections completed earlier ?????
